Do You See You? is my first person testimony with respect to an abusive relationship I experienced during my twenties. It was not an easy book to write, but it was an important story for me to share. There have been tears shed almost every step of the way, but they were almost necessary to…
There was an incident recently 📰 at The National Gallery 🖼 in London 🇬🇧 where climate protesters 📣🌎❤️🌳 felt so desperate about the current state of the climate emergency that they garnered our global attention 👀 by throwing soup 🥣 at Van Gogh’s masterpiece 🎨 Sunflowers 🌻 . They have made their point 💯, they certainly have my attention 💻, and I hope they also have yours 💕.
The current global climate crisis that we face is exceptionally real and getting worse by the minute. It is a crisis of epic proportions and needs to be addressed in a manner that is appropriate for a crisis of that magnitude.
This video 📹 is a representation of what Van Gogh’s Sunflowers 🌻 means to me 🤍 but it’s also my current contribution to the discourse 💬 surrounding this incident and issue.
No one on this planet 🌎 is exempt from caring about this issue 🚫, and if you don’t care about it, that means you are running from it.
But I guarantee you, it is very difficult to outrun a natural disaster.
Beauty is more than a make up regimen.
While yes, women in 2022 require some form of a beauty routine in order to survive, we also need it for our internal wealth as well. I understand that this world places a lot of value on physical outer beauty, but it is my personal opinion that the most beautiful individuals in existence have beautiful hearts.
And to me, that is the dopest determining detail someone can have.

For years now you have heard me preach the importance of children’s rights, and lately you’ve heard me get a little bit louder. Chances are, that won’t be changing anytime soon. Vocal holds regular writing competitions and when the opportunity to enter a challenge titled (Un)Common Knowledge presented itself, I had to present the current…
The #FreeBritney movement is definitely one that is close to my heart. And so, for my first article with Goalcast I wrote about the #FreeBritney movement and why it just might actually work! To read the article click here.
“Side effects takin’ over my brain and my mind…” Side Effects is a song that has literally been years in the making. Now that it has finally arrived, I hope that you will listen to it with open ears and an open mind. Maybe you can relate, maybe you can’t, but either way just know…
Today is International Women’s Day 2021, an important day for recognizing women everywhere across all socially constructed divisions and arbitrarily decided upon lines. On this day it is important that we reflect on who women are and why we recognize our gender on this day. Being a woman is increasingly understood as an identity and…

I wrote a short story that means so much to me, possibly more than anything else I have written in a while. I submitted the story as a part of The Little Black Book Challenge by Vocal and Moleskine where the winner wins a grand total of $20,000! The guidelines for the submission were to…
