I wrote a short story that means so much to me, possibly more than anything else I have written in a while. I submitted the story as a part of The Little Black Book Challenge by Vocal and Moleskine where the winner wins a grand total of $20,000! The guidelines for the submission were to write a fiction piece that somehow includes someone coming into $20,000 and also incorporating a “little black book” into the narrative. I chose to write about something close to my heart.
